Do any women use sex as a stress reliever?

Often when I have a stressful and bad day at work I look to my wife for sex as a stress reliever. She says when I do this it makes it stressful for her. My wife usually has more bad and stressful days than I do, but when I ask her if sex would help her get some relief she says it makes it worse. So I was wondering if any other women find sex a stress reliever and a good distraction?
