I'm just glad to have seen this and saved it. I was only 10 when Ali fought Holmes but I remember it well. A few rounds before they stopped the fight Holmes tried to get the ref to stop it. I remember at first my father and I thought Holmes was showboating but the camera backed up and you could see Holmes asking the ref to stop it. Then he'd tag Ali. I believe Holmes never got the respect he deserved because of that fight. All these great fighters deserves respect. For their display of their craft.❤and respect for them all.
Well let's just all agree that if i was alive back in Ali's day, he'd have no choice but to bow before me as he would see me shredding opponent after opponent one by one that he could barely pull off a win and I'm over here knocking them out in the first round. Can we all agree to that at very least
All that anger …..all that hurt it can turn the strongest of ppl into hatefilled puppets Not that that anger wasnt justified….but when harnessed in that manner , its destructive….it will BREAK YOU DOWN COMPLETELY CHANGE YOU QUITE QUICKLY I MIGHT ADD Its what happens when Shepparded with the wrong Sheppard,so to speak …..your neighbor isnt the one you have a gripe with …. especially in the neighborhoods most of us come from , its the ppl DICTATING what laws and guidelines we are FORCEDA TO FOLLOW in a society….that being said society gets it wrong too the ppl in power are human as well Problem is they are the Most out of touch amongst us all because they dont deal with the same problems the workin class does , they know not what is good for the whole Nor do they give a damn But you can show them, when it comes to things like this it always has to be done the hard way….why because as humans we look for the easiest solution…..thing is its never the correct solution
You watch something like this ….and then you watch the news today…..any news anywhere at anytime (here in the states) and all these ppl going on about this and that and their "struggle"….its manufactured the real struggle was back then THESE ARE THE PPL THAT HAD TO FIGHT to be recognized and respected …..you hear all these spoiled brat college kids whining about this and that…..its a bunch of spoiled brats whos parents have raised them to think the world revolves around them either through action or word and they get out here in the real world where EVERYONE has to be acknowledged and the world doesnt revolve around them anymore …and they lose their minds I hate to say it but you HAVE to blame the fathers or lack there of …ppl like my grandparents or my lesbian mother ….THOSE PPL HAD TO FIGHT FOR THEIR RESPECT…
