Jesus, does anyone have empathy in a horror movie? The nun sees her crying hysterically and automatically assumes foul play? You don't have to be a psychologist to tell when another human being is scared and in pain.
"We have to be careful what we choose to believe in." True, but we also cannot always choose what we believe. In absence of evidence, it can be impossible to convince yourself of something; likewise, it can be impossible to dissuade yourself from something that's been proven to you with hard evidence. You can go through the motions of (dis)belief, or change your mind over time, but you cannot simply turn a belief on and off at any given moment. Hardly anyone would (dis)believe anything they don't want to, if we could.
No matter how hard I try, I cannot believe that two plus two equals ten, nor can I stop believing that there's a throbbing blister on my ankle right now. The first is easily disprovable, and the other is unignorable.
This is not to deny that we have free will, of course. Most of us still choose what to do with our beliefs, and how much/strongly we invest in them.
Then some people are just downright delusional; their beliefs are based on false perceptions that they did not choose to have (hallucinations, cognitive impairment, etc.), and clarifying those false beliefs requires professional treatment.

Who says she's acting, or worried about being "cool"? Maybe she's actually going crazy. That's what I would assume if a friend of mine became hysterical and stopped making sense to me. I know they're just kids, but they should be able to tell she isn't playing a joke.
Wow this was total dogshit. A ten minute drawn out teen sex scene wasting time. The last 40 minutes for the movie was stretched to hell. The end was unsatisfying and disappointing. overall cringe.
I love this movie I've seen it maybe four to five times and I don't completely understand it very well and that's what keeps me coming back wanting to watch it again figure it out. I wish there were a recap or a plot summary that includes the ending and explains the movie but I don't know where to look

This movie was so stupid! I enjoyed looking at some hot girls, but the plot was just too dumb. They didnt do anything to girl. They played a tiny little prank on her, and she ran into a door. So thats enough to then kill everyone, lol! Seriously, whoever wrote this needs a new line of work. Burt whoever did the casting did a great job, cause I thought all of the acting was good, and everyone was nice to look at!

This isn't a bad movie. they could have removed a couple of the minor characters and trimmed the movie down, but it's not a bad movie. I think they had the spirit kill a couple characters so they could pad the movie out.
