Hi all,
I was intimate with someone in mid-December. We shared our STD labs with each other that we had done about a month prior. He ended up being not the greatest person, and I’m not confident that he didn’t sleep around during that time between testing and us being intimate without protection.
I got tested later that month, and again on the 8th of this month which would put me just before the six month HIV window period. All negative. I’m debating on getting tested again now that I’m past the six months because I’m now in a healthy relationship with someone I think I deserve and I don’t want to be not 100% fully informed on my status.
Do y’all think it’s necessary for me to have the test performed again? Or do you think I was close enough to the end of the window period?
