how do i ride someone without being insecure?

first of all, i’m a female with a guy and i really like him. he obviously gets annoyed that i dont go on top and i really want to but i dont feel like i’ll be good at it? ive tried before and it just felt awkward and like nothing. how do i get more confident with it? are there any tips? i’m insecure about my face and my double chin and i honestly feel like that’s what stops me the most.
