I would love to see the old characters back in how to train your dragon part 4 like hiccup is a full grown adult now and toothless Astrid the kids night lights night fury and all the dragons in the hidden world
They should have a background story about the Lightfury and the other Lightfuries you see in the film. I noticed two other Lightfuries in the film. Wonder if theirs more? Anyway, they can have toothless come back and reunite with Hiccup family.
Like another commenter said, I'd love to see backstories more than I would a 4th movie. Like, make a series of short films or an actual HTTYD series explaining what happened to characters before they were brought in. Like how Valka and Stoik met and what their teenage years were like, what their life was like living in two different worlds or show us what Eret's life was like before turning his back on dragon hunting. Heck, I'd even like to see Grimmel and Drago's backstories!
The ending was awful and very defeatist. I'd love to see a 4th film (or even better, a tv series with the quality of Riders of Berk) with Hiccups kids and the night lights.
My new dragon: The Red Thunder-stinger drago- nope that’s a bigger dragon. A Rattletailed Shock Drake: with a number of black rattling quills atop the head and along the spine and the tail but patterned like porcupine( red and black), long jaw like a titanosaurus Kaiju dinosaur, razor sharp claws like the Indoraptor, and a spiky lightning horn on or next to the end of the tail and wings like the Deathgripper. Black on the top of its body and red on the bottom and the underbelly is black. Runs like a velociraptor and jumps and pounces like a velociraptor. Also can stand and run on all fours and all twos like the Indoraptor. The big awesome Godlious Firestorm dragon. Same height as the dragon from ark survival evolve/ reference of dragon from Ark Survival Evolved/ looks like the dragon from Ark Survival Evolved and the Dragon God mod: with horns like Gomorrah from Beyonetta large wings, looong tail. Some like bad to good. So what does everybody think of that?

Because hiccup said when he time comes the dragons will return in peace and I think the dragons will return in peace to see hiccup and the Vikings I think it's time for the dragons to live with hiccup and the Vikings I would love to see it I really would love to see it
Even if DreamWorks and DeBlois go back on their word, that doesn't mean How to Train Your Dragon 4 will happen any time soon. Animated films take a long time to develop, write and produce; there were four years between the first two Dragon movies and five between the second and third. A similar gap would be expected for How to Train Your Dragon 4, meaning a 2023 release date at the earliest (and that's if they started work on it today).
I think yall should do a 4th movie. Why do yall make a movie to were it ends on a cliff hanger!? Like why even make a movie…. stop making movies or shows that end as a cliff hanger. Like if the movie did good and it ends on a cliff hanger then there should be more……
Is it possible they are hiding release of the 4th movie as they have done in past? also with httyd the nine realms being set roughly 1400 years in the future it gives the main franchise enough room to expand on the story without screwing it up with the nine realms.
