I (22F) am a nurse. I work 12-hour shifts or more sometimes depending on what staff ratios are like that day/night. I don’t get much time to myself, and sometimes when I get home all I want to do is either lay in bed and sleep or relax.
My FWB (26M), is still in college, he only has one class because he needs it to move forward with the rest of his schooling, so he has free time…All the time pretty much.
The first time we initiated the FWB relationship I explained that I like being prepared for things and that a little bit of warning (like three hours in advance) would be nice, as I would have to shower, shave, and pick out undergarments etc, and coming off from a 12 hour shift means I have to clean up extremely well anyways.
For the past few encounters he has given me very very little notification, and it is really starting to bother me as I don’t have time to get well-prepared, which hits my confidence level.
I have spoken to him about it and he tells me he doesn’t care if I’m not prepared as he likes me regardless. I personally feel different.
Is there a sort of compromise?
