My partner and I have been sleeping together for about a year and he recently started finishing by jerking off when he’s close to finishing. I asked him why he started doing that and he first said it felt good and then when I asked another time he said it’s just less of a chance of pregnancy (which is obviously a valid excuse). I take birth control religiously but this has been bothering me a little because it feels a lot less intimate and not as satisfying. It kind of makes me not want to have sex.
I was going to ask him if he wants to start using a condom but it may be strange to suggest that since we’ve been sleeping together for a while now. How should I approach this?
