The actual Hatton Garden heist occurred in April 2015. There were at least three film made based on it. I've seen two now. I liked this one and "King of Thieves" with Michael Caine, was also quite good.

There was another movie similar to this and also supposedly true that took place in London by some old guys. Similar but a lot different. That one starred Michael Caine. While British productions don't hold a candle to Hollywood, both movies were reasonably good. Another thing of note, if this had taken place in the US, the prison sentences would have been MUCH longer because you see, the American justice system does what it must to deter bad guys from re-committing crimes. Those old guys would've died in prison.
Its a little difficult for me to understand why stealing diamonds is more than a misdemeanor. Like, the people dealing the diamonds stole them. Stealing from bigger thieves is all it is
Even though I've never heard of this movie, I just got done watching it and I must say wow this movie was good. I would actually have paid money to see this at the show that's how good it was, I give it a 13 at a 13 skulls again, that's how good it was, and it's nice to finally see a decent movie for a change. Because I've been fine and I'm here as SHIT movies. And this one was good so I gave it a 13 out of 13 skulls. I highly recommend that you see it even though it is an older movie. Better stellar movie that is worth seeing

The idea was fine. But I think someone else could have made a better movie about it.
Though I appreciate that there wasn't a lot of blood and gore.
