I saw the screening today and I am slightly disappointed with the soundtrack. Apart from “Helena’s Theme”, I didn’t hear anything remarkable, except lots of quotations from previous Indy movies (main theme, nazi theme, Marion’s theme, even the desert chase theme from The Last Crusade). And the orchestra performance sometimes lacked energy, especially the end titles suite was rather boring.
The end titles say “Music orchestrated and conducted by John Williams and William Ross”. I’d very much like to know who did what exactly.
P.S. this is about the music as heard in the movie. Maybe the soundtrack album will be different.
