The sets were beautiful. Clothing, hair all gorgeous. The 'plot line' was the dumbest, the totally stupid and infuriating scene with Dom Delouise with the cake, the really awful kitchen scene – they predicted.the cleaning robot – just awful. Were the 1960s that obsessed with spies and Russia and technology? I love Doris Day, but this movie was really bad.
🎉 Doris Day, was one of the Best, always playing Ms. G-2-SHOES,! Yet People had a quite different attitude at that time of life! I remember my Dad had a Crush on her! K-SARA,Is still remembered to this Day! Rod Taylor's been around for Longtime! ❤d him in ALFRED HITCHCOCK'S the BIRD'S!/many. Others! 👍, Oh-CRAA-Dom Deluies, was always such a Sweet Charactor in all! This is a Sweet🍬Oldie! A bit much so at the times as well! I ❤ these type Movies on the Weekends! Reminders of the Pasttimes/w/Family/TV,/POPCORN In a Newspaper Hat! (No Jiffypop)! 😢 Kernals always got Stuck! So many other Well known Characters! (Robert Vaughn) Surprise! /Familiar faces/Names! Miss them all! I Thank You for Showing the Goods! GBU.,SM.,NZ., 👍😁😎😌
This is a lot of fun and very time specific. All the clothing and sets are very accurate for the time period. I don't know a lot about fashion but I do know some things. The yellow floor length coat Doris wears is what is called A line, due to its shape as an A., I think it is the most beautiful coat I ever saw. I went back and read, in the credits, it was deigned by RAY AGHAYAN, who did all her clothes for this film. Cloths in the early 60's for women were fresh inventive and wonderful, buy the late 60's it was all over. Dom DeLuise gives a marvelous understated slapstick performance, and that's saying something because slapstick and understated don't even belong in the same sentence.
Whoa, I've been totally wanting to see this movie🧜👏!! So many 🤩 🌟✨💫 to show up in lots of later repeat appearances together in other 🍿 🎥 too!🎉 This is🧜🤿🪸🦀🐡🏊 🛥️ 📡 most definitely a childhood favorite of mine💖 I remember much later on, I rented it from Blockbuster and ended up paying more in late fees than what it would have cost to just buy the VHS 📼 😂. Doris Day💕 Rod Taylor 💓 and Edward Andrews😅 also together again with Doris and James Garner in "The Thrill of It All" 🫧 🧼 Edward's indomitable spirit even showed up as late as Molly Ringwald's "16 Candles" and just before his untimely demise, "Gremlins" in 1985. Andrew's acerbic wit and charm hadn't changed a bit😂🤓🎉🍸🍾🎥🍿🎞️🎬🎭🫡🏅
I’ve never seen this movie but I’m so in love already. Gladys and Abner Kravitz from Bewitched are here, Paul Lynde also played a few recurring characters in Bewitched, and he voiced Templeton the rat in Charlotte’s Web. I love all these little gems.
James Garner admitted that if he hadn't already been married, he would have loved to marry Doris Day. Everybody loves Doris Day, and I have always loved her movies, t.v. show, and her smooth soft velvety singing voice. She was always a winner in what she did. And her Love for Animals & Dogs and what she did for them with her Company dedicated to them.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

So many parents and teachers are failures now
What a great movie with Doris Day so beautiful and Rod Taylor so handsome. I loved her outfits throughout the picture. Lovely old movie…
Anyone else notice that the opening title song is virtually "Mama's Gonna Buy You a Mockingbird"? 🥴
Love Doris Day…🥰
Arthur Godfrey was such a great actor.

This movie is such a delight😊
Doris Day is one of my all-time favorites. Multi talented, and the clothes!
Anyone else looking for the poster costume in the film? I found a brief clip of her in the Mata Hari costume in the LSD experience starting @ 56:50
