Amy reminds me more of Edith Piaf than Sinatra — Piaf was a Parisian street girl who was also physically tiny but had a huge alto voice that expressed every ounce of the pain that overwhelmed her life. Piaf literally sang for her supper — so did Amy. Both women chose poisonous men and both died far too young. Both have iconic alto voices…and amazing legacies.
Amy was a beautiful and delicate soul with a sensational voice that rang out with the pain and joy of life far beyond her young years — that man was pure poison and how I wish she’d met a man or a friend who had actually loved her. Amy might have still fallen into the abyss but nobody helped her — and there were too many enablers pushing her over the edge.
I wonder why these videos of Amy don't mention Tyler James who lived with her! They were best friends…She was doing pretty good with her sobriety but she went on a binge. Tyler got very mad at her and went to his Mom's too spend a few nights until Amy sobered up. The day he came home the paramedics were there and he just thought Amy was going in hospital again like she had so many times. But she was already gone 😢. Tyler was the one true friends Amy had at the end.
That's really sad and it's how a lot of addicts go out. They tell themselves if they can just have one more drink, or hit, or smoke, etc. then they'll quit. Often times it's that one last time that kills them. She was such a beautiful talented young woman with a very marketable singing voice. I read that her royalties are still earning $1 million to this day and I think her parents get that money. RIP Amy.
I hate the way this curly head guy frames her asking" is that alright?' After a sensational performance as 'insecurity' and 'low self esteem.' Maybe it's Hun8lity, buddy. A spectacular artist who is also down to earth grounded and humble at the core
I remember 2011. Just started dating this gal in June. I make a lot of predictions. I told her that Amy won't be around very much longer. About 2-3 weeks later, I was proven right. Lots of other stuff I have been right about in the last decade that I wish I was wrong about.
I'm conflicted over what these interviewers are saying. On one hand they're saying "How sad.. How concerning.. How disturbing". But were they not the ones making money off of her decline? Were they not the ones reporting on her life? Maybe they were thinking they were helping? Idk… I watch a lot of these hoping to hear more than what's been posted in the media.
this documentary made me realize i am wrong. People with addictions people with addictions will harm the people they love because they fell guilt for being wrong drug addicts need help in the most positive way possible until they get better

I don't understand why governments don't make campaigns against drugs.

Oh…this not series that discusses the physiological science of how these celebrities die?
She was so stunning.

Amy watching videos of herself? No way. That doesn’t sound like her 🤔
So sad

Blake was her muse and her destroyer.
Co-defendant relationships are never good.

Well don't talk on Twitter all about your great friend. Her struggles , Her story to tell
Come On.
That's basic
Is this vid gonna tackle her BULIMIA?
Because if it doesn't it's way off track.
Amy's life & death were a tragedy. The world lost a wonderful artist.
Tragic

RIP Angel 💔
Too bad Luci took her so soon. That's what happens when you sell your soul for fame and fortune. xoxo
