It is the same hate for black folks and the same economic segregation!!!!

I was born in 1950, and lived through the period when this CRAP was going on! Even as a child, I wondered why (at a movie theater in Louisiana) had an entrance with a sign "Coloreds Only." WE ARE ALL CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH GOD & it's an embarrassment for me, as a Caucasian woman, that the African Americans were treated with such disrespect!!!!!!

Black people had white slaves. Black people had Black slaves. What's truly sad is our government depicted the lie. Not saying the black people didn't suffer and was unjustified. So many lies out there about race issues. I love these kind of movies. As a white female, I would have been right in the middle supporting Black people, just like many people that are white. We care about black people and appreciate their gifts and many talents. Nobody can make me feel any other way. Black people are beautiful human beings.

What I can say is thank God for MLK, and all the pioneers. I wouldn't be alive if I was old enough during these times because I shan't take the rubbish. I rather be dead but I would take at least one or two people with me, if not the whole street if I had a gun.

58:09 Many shameful moments in this movie but I find it horrid that US citizens hung the flag backward in this scene and no one caught it.

Blessed movie about the truth of how Black people endured the hardships of segregation and yet held on to their faith in God.
He is still that same God who Let there be when He created the world and man.
We should give God the credit for our freedom twice . We are now free from sin chains that can't enslaved us any more if confess our sins, repent, and be baptized in Jesus name He promised to give us the Holy Ghost to live righteous and Holy lives while we are on this earth.
    Be blessed ❤.

Everybody bleeds red blood and there are no colored souls. We will be judged the same on judgment day. There will be no front nor back rows on judgment day.

This makes me feel hatred for the actors who played the parts of the racist men, sadly. I don't want to see them in any other movies! Ugh!

This movie is and was amazing. I honestly feel like this need to be shown in schools but then i think " it would just teach them its ok to say " n" this " n" that" ( like they do songs) this was and still is damaged with racism

Watching movies like this makes me sick that I'm white an this is what my ancestors probably did to blacks decades ago. 😔

I wish to go back to these better times and I wasnt even born back then, that is how much I want it. Back then the country was in such much better terms. Look the mess we have now, x10 times worst.

It just makes me sick that people allowed this to happen. We are ALL people! We ALL deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. All this hate has turned life into a damn nightmare!

I would not watch any show that had Whoopi in it.

  37. BraveOne-T Avatar

It's scary and sad how hate can make people act. Anyone who walks in truth with God can see how evil it is. Were all made in his image, all special, and worthy of all happiness this world has to offer.

It is definitely a hard movie to watch, I reckon that is the point.

How things change! I’m Latina and I was bullied by black people on the bus!
We was a lot of Hispanic on the bus this kids was saying racist comments to us and making jokes about legal status ..
This black kids now need to watch this movies to know that they are doing to Latinos what whites did to them and how they felt
