10 Queens Who Will Never Appear on All Stars – Armessa Movie News

[ad_1]

Summary

  • Popular queens like Willam, Pearl, and Max won’t be returning to RuPaul’s Drag Race due to feuds with RuPaul and mistreatment by the production.
  • The Vixen’s combative edit and focus on activism over reality TV have led them to not prioritize a return to the show.
  • Queens like Kim Chi, Courtney Act, and Bianca Del Rio have found success outside of Drag Race and don’t need it to remain relevant. Gigi Goode wants to evolve further before considering a return.

With RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars as iconic as ever, there’s speculation over which queens will earn their chance at ru-demption in future seasons. But there is also talk about the queens who will never grace the main stage again for an all-star season.

Throughout the show’s history, plenty of queens rubbed RuPaul the wrong way or completely denounced the show after their season, which sealed their fate, never to be asked back on the show. Even though the fans love these queens, it is almost sure they won’t make another run for the Drag Race crown.

Willam

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 4

Willam was a popular cast member, but given the public feud between Willam and RuPaul, it would take a great deal for Willam to compete on the show again. In a YouTube interview with Joseph Shepard, Willam exposed how mistreated the contestants were on their season and their reasons for not going back beyond their feud with RuPaul. Willam has made a big enough name for themselves that they no longer need the Drag Race exposure, though it would be great for ratings.

Pearl

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7

Pearl stirred the proverbial pot on their season of Drag Race with the infamous “Do I have something on my face?” moment. And from there, a feud with RuPaul ensued that sealed Pearl’s fate of never being on Drag Race again. In an interview with Hey Qween, Pearl admitted they were not the perfect contestant. However, it’s rumored RuPaul was very cold to contestants and was only interested in making connections on camera for the show. Michelle Visage and RuPaul attacked Pearl on their podcast to further solidify that Pearl won’t be an all-star.

Max

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7

Max is another queen Drag Race fans fell in love with, but has been very public about their mistreatment and lack of desire to return to the show. In a YouTube interview with Joseph Shepard, Max expressed production painted them in a different light than they had hoped. Even though Max remains tight-lipped on other behind-the-scenes drama, it has been proven by other queens that if a contestant reveals a secret about productions, especially about RuPaul, they are doomed never to get the call for all-stars; however, Max doesn’t seem to worry about making a comeback any time soon.

The Vixen

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10

The Vixen has earned a reputation for feuding with other queens on and off-camera. Even though The Vixen was a strong performer and became a fan-favorite queen on Reddit and social media, the edit The Vixen was given on the show painted them as combative. The Vixen famously walked off the reunion show after feeling attacked by other queens and RuPaul. Even though they are still a drag performer, The Vixen is more focused on their activism with Black Girl Magic than returning to reality television.

Kim Chi

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8

Kim Chi quickly gained stardom during their time on Drag Race and has capitalized on their time in the spotlight. Like her Drag Race sisters Trixie Mattel and Miss Fame, Kim Chi has launched a makeup brand that has become an overnight sensation among those who do drag and everyday makeup lovers. Even though she has appeared online after shows like The Pit Stop and Secret Celebrity Drag Race, Kim Chi is not looking to reappear on Drag Race so they can focus on their brand.

Tamisha Iman

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13

After causing a stir on season 13, Tamisha Iman dragged everyone on season 13 on her social media. Tamisha claimed that the entire season was rigged and did not have a good relationship with the production crew. Tamisha openly criticizing the show has probably sealed her fate of not getting an invitation to return to the series, but it doesn’t seem Tamisha wants one either. Like other contestants who weren’t happy with their experience, Tamisha Iman intends to continue their career with as little connection to Drag Race as possible.

Courtney Act

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6

Even before their time on Drag Race, Courtney Act had established themselves as a star from their appearance on Australian Idol. And while fans have been waiting for Courtney Act to appear in the show again, their objection to RuPaul’s comments on not letting trans queens compete on the show has taken Act out of the running. Act openly criticized RuPaul and was blocked on Twitter by the show’s host. Act has earned plenty of fame and doesn’t need the show to remain relevant.

Gigi Goode

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12

Gigi Goode deserves another chance at the crown as a fan-favorite fashion queen. However, Gigi told the Gay Times UK that All-Stars isn’t in the cards, at least for now. Goode noted that they would consider returning only when their drag has evolved to a new level. Given that drag is a personal journey, Gigi Goode may never feel they have changed enough to return to the show.

Bianca Del Rio

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6

As one of the most deserving winners of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Bianca Del Rio has become an extremely successful queen outside of the show. Some fans expected Del Rio to appear on the Drag Race winners season, but Bianca declined the invitation. In an interview with Pride Source, Del Rio stated they would not “go back to high school.” This could reveal a bit about their experience on the show or that Del Rio has outgrown it. Bianca Del Rio is a star in her own right and has other projects to focus on beyond drag and Drag Race.

Nina West (Season 11)

Nina West was a clear front-runner for the title of Miss Congeniality in Drag Race season 11 and has kept her reputation since the season ended. While Nina West hasn’t publicly stated that they don’t want to return to the competition, they have focused on educating children on pride and inclusivity. And while RuPaul’s Drag Race is hugely influential, the show isn’t always family-friendly, which seems to be the direction Nina West wants for their brand.

RuPaul’s Drag Race is available for streaming on Prime Video, Hulu, and Paramount+.
