90 Day Fiancé fans are calling out “Big” Ed Brown after his fiancé Liz Woods revealed during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7 Tell-All that he kicked her out of his house, that left her with no option but to couch-surf. Ed first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days season 4, where his relationship with Rose Vega ended in shambles. Ed gave love another chance when he returned for 90 Day: The Single Life season 1, where he pursued Liz and the two began a relationship and later got engaged. Ed and Liz are currently appearing on Happily Ever After?, where they are still trying to make their relationship work amid constant fighting and numerous break-ups.
While 90 Day Fiancé fans were frustrated with Ed for the majority of the season, they became increasingly angry toward him after Liz revealed that Ed left her to be homeless when he decided that they could not work on their relationship if they still lived together. Reddit user Caramel_63g began a thread on the topic, emphasizing that Ed “sent [Liz] back to live in the car,” after she admitted to Ed that she had to live in her car previously. Liz opened up about her past financial struggles, and revealed that she had to live in her car for several months and even had to send her daughter away to live with her father. While Ed broke down in tears after hearing that, fans believe that what he did to Liz was just as bad.
90 Day Fiancé Fans Do Not Think Big Ed Deserves Love
Many 90 Day Fiancé fans are beyond fed up with Ed, and do not think he deserves true love after witnessing his treatment of Liz. Reddit user Ok-Wedding-4654 commented, “I don’t think Ed is capable of love,” which other fans were quick to agree with. Fans also pointed out that Ed asked his friends to pack Liz’s things while she was not there, which they found to be disgusting and disrespectful. Ed also gave Liz very short notice, and expected her to move out immediately, while knowing that she did not have a place to go.
The relationship between Ed and Liz does not make sense to fans, as they do not understand why Liz stays with Ed after he has treated her poorly for a long time. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers initially suspected that Liz was a gold-digger, however, she has proven that this is not the case, and she is eager to work and provide for herself. It is also very evident that Liz has genuine love for Ed, although many fans cannot understand why. Though at first viewers felt sorry for Liz, some have lost sympathy for her after she has repeatedly gone back to and relied on Ed.
Ed has been controversial among 90 Day Fiancé fans since his first appearance on the franchise, as viewers believe that he treats women extremely poorly. Ed berated and embarrassed Rose during Before The 90 Days by shaming her for not shaving her legs and having bad breath. Ed has not been much kinder to Liz, and many fans are genuinely concerned for Liz’s well-being after being in such a toxic relationship with Ed for so long. While fans may be able to look past certain things Ed does, they cannot forgive him for leaving Liz to be homeless.
