Kalani Faagata has a new man in her life named Dallas Nuez, and she’s finally opening up about him on 90 Day: The Last Resort. Kalani, 34, began dating Asuelu, 27, after meeting him in Samoa while she was on vacation. Kalani brought him to America on a K-1 visa on season 6 of the 90 Day Fiancé reality TV show. The couple have two kids, Oliver and Kennedy, and have been together from 2018 up until she began dating Dallas. Kalani met Dallas after Asuelu gave her a hall pass for cheating on her. Kalani never confirmed she had a boyfriend, except for sharing cryptic photos of him on Instagram.

Kalani had a conversation with Liz Woods on 90 Day: The Last Resort episode 9. Kalani told Liz the biggest problem between her and Asuelu was that she couldn’t get herself to forgive him. What everyone else at the resort knew about Asuelu was that he cheated on Kalani with a woman in Samoa and got a yeast infection. Kalani told Liz that Asuelu had cheated on her throughout their whole relationship. Asuelu cheated when they started dating, when she became pregnant, and even when she was doing the paperwork to bring him to America. She told Liz about Asuelu’s online cheating, where he bought naked photos from women.

Kalani Met Dallas Two Months Before Filming Last Resort

Moreover, despite them getting therapy and Asuelu begging for her forgiveness, Kalani caught Asuelu deleting messages on his phone. It prompted Kalani to unblock Dallas. She wanted to talk to people like Asuelu was. Kalani had the biggest smile ever on her face when she told Liz about his name being Dallas. With her face lit up, the 90 Day Fiancé alum said she’d barely known Dallas for two months but still really liked him. “He’s like the first guy I’ve ever dated that actually reciprocates what I do… like communications, feelings, doing things for each other,” she gushed.

Dallas Loves Kalani, Asuelu Doesn’t

Kalani admitted she was torn between who to pick out of Dallas and Asuelu. She wondered if she should be with someone like Asuelu, who’s the father to her kids but doesn’t even deserve her friendship, or pick the person who came out of nowhere and made her believe that there are nice guys out there. Dallas made her realize that he was someone who could love her without her having to work hard for it. Kalani said Dallas wanted to be around her and show that he loved her by spending time with her, while Asuelu said he cared about her and loved her when he didn’t.

Kalani Spent The Night With Dallas While Getting Therapy With Asuelu

“He’s shown me who he is, so why do I keep giving him chances to show me someone else?” the 90 Day: The Last Resort star wondered. This dilemma in Kalani’s head made her decide to be with Dallas. Asuelu woke up the next day to find Kalani not responding to his texts. He found out Kalani was “out,” but she didn’t tell him where she was. Asuelu “freaked out”. He could feel “something happened” while he was busy trying to fix their relationship. Dallas had let Kalani know all his real feelings when she unblocked him, and he decided to fly out to meet Kalani.
