All Treasure Pod Locations in Rainbow Fields – Armessa Movie News

After Beatrix unlocks the Jetpack in Slime Rancher 2, she will be able to find a total of fourteen Treasure Pods within the Rainbow Fields biome.

While exploring the starting biome of the Rainbow Fields in Slime Rancher 2, the player will eventually discover a Treasure Pod, spherical containers that unlock a variety of rewards, including Upgrades and Blueprints for Utilities and Decorations. While most of the items found in these pods are not essential for gameplay progression, many will undoubtedly be beneficial for Beatrix on her journey to become the ultimate “Slime Rancher” on Rainbow Island.

Unlike the prequel, no keys or prerequisites are needed to open Treasure Pods in Slime Rancher 2. The player can approach the pod and use the interact button to open the container and automatically receive their reward. Since the game is in its early development stages, this feature could change in the future. Until such a change occurs, Beatrix can freely open any pod they discover on Rainbow Island. However, a Treasure Pod’s location is often blocked by obstacles or inaccessible without the Jetpack, an essential tool for exploration. Therefore, the player protagonist is highly encouraged to unlock the Jetpack first before attempting to find every Treasure Pod in the Rainbow Fields of Rainbow Island.

According to YouTube content creator Trophy Tom, the Rainbow Fields of Slime Rancher 2 contains a total of fourteen Treasure Pods that Beatrix can discover. It should be noted that all fourteen are located on the western side of the first island, meaning none can be found on the grounds of the Conservatory or its expansions. Thanks to an official map provided by Reddit user TheChook, the player can know exactly where each of these Treasure Pods can be found regarding their map locations.

  • If the player follows the southwestern trails from the Conservatory, they will pass through two archways. After the second arch, they will find a tunnel to a Phosphor Gordo blocking a cave passageway. Feed this Gordo 50 of “Any” Fruit to burst it and clear the path.
  • At the end of the cave’s path, the player will encounter a locked room with the Treasure Pod. Fire a Tabby Plort into the Slime statue’s mouth to open the door.

Hydro Turret

  • From the location of the Hydro Turret Treasure Pod, use the Jetpack to fly up into the hidden path to the right. Cross through the cave to reach a small alcove with an ocean view. Fly onto the small outcropping to the left to find another pod.
Goldpetal Flowers
4
  • In the first meadow of Rainbow Island, head to the northern cliff facing the coral island. Turn left and walk off the edge, carefully falling into the hidden rocky outcropping below.
Heart Cell

  • Starting from the same meadow above, go to the left of the large stone archway and use the Jetpack in Slime Rancher 2 to fly across the small ravine and onto the opposing cliff. Follow the winding trail to the top of the small mountain to find a Treasure Pod hidden in a crevice near the peak.
Small Boulder
6
  • Head to the cave entrance of the Phosphor Gordo and follow the path westward until reaching a stone arch. Turn right, climb the narrow slope, and cross the stone archway. After passing through a small opening, turn left to find a pod atop a small outcropping.

  • From the previous pod location, use the nearby hanging trees as platforms to ascend the south side of the mountain. A pod can be found on a narrow ridge near the top.
1# Slime Stage
8
  • The eighth Treasure Pod in the Rainbow Fields biome of Slime Rancher 2 is located on the small rocky island south of the sandy beaches below the biome’s center on the map. This tiny isle area is easy to reach, but the entire coral section is inaccessible without the Jetpack.

Med Station
12
  • Starting again from the Refinery Link in the Rainbow Fields, go up the trail and take the first left leading to a small grassy trail below a stone archway. After reaching a Deep Brine node, turn right to find a small cave with the twelfth Treasure Pod.
Emerald Cypress
13
  • Starting from the Refinery Link for the last time, use the Jetpack to fly onto the grassy ridge to the north. Continue northward until reaching a small patch of trees and bushes. Investigate the center of this shrubbery to find another Treasure Pod.
Overjoyed Statue
14
  • Similar to Number 11, the last Treasure Pod of the Rainbow Fields can be found near the portal to Ember Valley. Go up the path leading to the teleporter and drop the cliff past the device. Check behind the cylinder-shaped stone ahead to find the last pod of the biome in Slime Rancher 2.

Of all the pod loot available in the Rainbow Fields, the Power Chip, Tank Liner, and Heart Cell Upgrades are undoubtedly the most useful in terms of exploration.
