The worst of Bebe Rexha‘s cell phone assault seems to be behind her; following the incident at the singer’s concert yesterday in which a cell phone was thrown directly into her eye, the artist has taken to Instagram to let us all know that she’s stitched up and getting better.

Rexha had been performing at New York City’s Pier 17 as part of her Best F’n Night of My Life tour when one of the concertgoers hurled a cell phone at the singer, catching her directly in the face. She was rushed offstage by the stage crew shortly after, and the culprit has since been arrested.

One has to admire the nonchalant tone in Rexha’s update given everything that went down; it’s no great leap to imagine that the perpetrator was indulging some pathological urge to get noticed in some way, shape, form, or fashion, but all they seemed to accomplish was giving Rexha’s fans an opportunity to show their love for the singer, whose simple “I’m good” is a testament to who she is, and who the culprit will never come close to being. I’ve declined to name the thrower of the phone here, as there’s a good to fair chance that’s exactly what he wants.

Rexha has quite a few more dates left on her tour, including upcoming stops in Philadelphia, Silver Spring, Atlanta, and Orlando, as well as multiple shows in California and Texas. We can only imagine how this incident may have bumped up ticket sales, or better yet, encouraged security to confiscate cell phones from the concertgoers; perhaps a fair number of folks will then watch the concert instead of filming it.
