Visceral and authentic. Not contrived and polished like 99% of movies. Life is gritty like this film, and when it ends, its meaning and morality are just as muddled.
This was on Netflix at one point. What a sad white trash story. In this day, and age makes me feel like all US white people are white trash, and we all will be if Putin starts a nuclear war. After seeing this movie, I hope he does.

Eve Plumb is hardly recognizable here. She’s aged pretty well. She just doesn’t look like she used to much at all. I can see it about 5% of the time.
It’s amazing what you can accomplish without CGI, explosions and car chases. Brilliant piece of filmmaking.
EDIT: Sniper shot was one of the best death scenes I’ve ever seen on film.
