Not long after the hit show wrapped things up in 2022, the actor is now set to reprise his role as the fan-favorite character, but this time in his own show.

As it became clear that the main Walking Dead series was nearing its end in 2020, it was announced that the apocalyptic franchise will live on via a series of spin-offs. This clip from Daryl Dixon was first revealed on AMC during the broadcast of The Walking Dead: Dead City, another spin-off starring Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

Originally, the project was supposed to feature Melissa McBride’s Carol, but things changed when she decided to exit the show. Despite that, a leaked image from The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon set shows McBride present, raising questions about her involvement.

No exact release date has been set for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon at this point. That being said, the six-episode show is expected to premiere sometime this fall.
