‘Deadpool 3’ Introducing the MCU’s Official Wolverine Just Got a Whole Lot Likelier- Armessa Movie News

Rumors shared on Twitter suggest that we’ll be treated to multiple Wolverines in Deadpool 3, so will we be seeing the official MCU Logan debut in the film?

The originator of the rumor is Twitter user CanWeGetSomeToast, a source who members of the community seem to consider reliable. The tweet shared by them states that we will be seeing “at least one” other variation of Wolverine, and while the tweet doesn’t give us details, we know there will be at least two Wolverines, maybe more.

“Deadpool isn’t the only character getting multiple variations. We’re also going to get at LEAST one other Wolverine in #Deadpool3”

Most fans had actually suspected that this would be the case, with multiple theories including one particularly interesting one involving Hugh Jackman playing himself and being forced into the Wolverine costume by Deadpool. We’ve also seen multiple rumors already that suggest we’ll be getting multiple variants of Deadpool, to boot. It’s starting to look like Marvel is copying Sony’s homework. Either way, all of these rumors and leaks mean that there will most likely be multiverse elements in the story, lending some credibility to CanWeGetSomeToast’s claims.

We know that there will likely be more than one Wolverine, then, but who’s to say that the variant Wolverine will be played by Jackman? If the rumors are true, then this would be the perfect opportunity for the MCU to bring its own, official replacement for the character. There would also be a chance to have the old Wolverine pass the torch to the new one before they presumably go back to their own universes at the end.

Fans have already begun putting forward their nominations for the new Wolverine with more than a few asking for Danny DeVito. Maybe you’re not sold on the idea because you just can’t picture it, but luckily, there are already a few good photoshops out there that show us what that could look like.

Well. I’m sold.

To be fair, Wolverine’s two most notable traits are being short and grumpy. If anyone can pull that off, it would be DeVito.

Finding an actor who is the right fit and bringing them into the fold the right way takes time. On the other hand, fans have been clamoring for any kind of information regarding MCU Logan since the 20th Century Fox buyout was confirmed, and Deadpool 3 seems like the perfect vehicle to deliver just that.
