There are a variety of different Cookbooks that players can find in the Lands Between, and each one unlocks more of Elden Ring’s crafting recipes.

In Elden Ring, Cookbooks must be located in order to unlock new crafting recipes. Once players obtain a Crafting Kit, they’ll be able to turn the materials they gather into useful items that will make the journey ahead much easier. Elden Ring’s Crafting Kit can be bought from Merchant Kalé in the Church of Elleh, just north of where players first enter Limgrave.

Players can access the Item Crafting menu once they’ve obtained the Crafting Kit while adventuring through the Lands Between. Additionally, locating cookingbooks in Elden Ring will automatically unlock the recipes it contains in the crafting menu. There are dozens of Cookbooks scattered across Elden Ring’s map, and each one contains a handful of useful recipes. Some Cookbooks can be purchased from the Merchants that have set up camp in the Lands Between, but others can be found in chests or looted from corpses.

There are nine different types of Cookbooks in Elden Ring, and all of their locations, as well as the recipes they unlock, are detailed below.

All Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook Locations

While it may seem like a waste of money to spend 2000 runes on a cookbook in Elden Ring with only one crafting recipe, Exalted Flesh gives a 20% boost to physical attack power for half a minute’s time. This can be extremely useful during some of the game’s tougher boss fights or in Elden Ring’s PvP matches.

All Missionary’s Cookbook Locations

The Missionary Cookbooks are some of the best in Elden Ring because they contain the recipes for Gold- and Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot, which helps increase item drop rates and rune drops from enemies!

Pidia, Carian Servant is a merchant in Elden Ring many players miss on their first playthrough. To find Pidia’s location in Caria Manor, players must drop drown from the Three Sisters Site of Grace at a specific location indicated by a single Cerulean Scarab.

Bewitching Branch is actually one of the starting Keepsakes Elden Ring players can choose from! It can also be purchased from the Nomadic Merchant close to Bellum Church in Liurnia.

All Frenzied’s Cookbook Locations

There are only two Frenzied’s Cookbooks to find in Elden Ring. Frenzied’s Cookbook [1] is found on a corpse in a house on the west side of the Frenzied Flame Village in Liurnia of the Lakes, and it unlocks the recipe for Clarifying Boluses. Frenzied’s Cookbook [2] is located on a corpse on the rafters of a hidden room through the altar in the room where players fight Mohg in Mohgwyn Palace, and it unlocks the recipe for Frenzyflame Stone.

All Perfumer’s Cookbook Locations

Perfume is a very handy item, and the following cookbook locations in Elden Ring can give players a surprising amount of versatility.

Unsurprisingly, some of the most powerful items in the game can be crafted once players find Elden Ring’s Ancient Dragon Apostle’s cookbook locations. This includes the powerful Lightning Grease and Drawstring Lightning Grease items, which many of the game’s enemies are weak to.
