Explosive New Jonathan Majors Report Features More Alleged Abuse Accusations – Armessa Movie News

A new report has revealed fresh abuse allegations against embattled actor Jonathan Majors. Earlier this year, Majors was reaching a new peak in his career with back-to-back hits in Creed 3 and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, where he played current Marvel big bad Kang the Conqueror. However, not long after the former’s release in March, Majors was arrested in New York City for an alleged assault against his then-girlfriend; the case will go to trial in August.

Now, Rolling Stone has published a new report that features several more claims of abuse Majors has dealt against past partners, as well as stories of alleged incidents where he acted inappropriately on various sets. Rolling Stone spoke with more than 40 people from across Majors’ career, and it is said that many describe him as “being a complicated, unpredictable, and sometimes violent man, who can switch from charming to cold in a flash.” In response, Majors’ attorney Dustin A. Pusch said in a statement:

“Jonathan Majors vehemently denies Rolling Stone’s false allegations that he physically, verbally, or emotionally abused anyone, let alone any of his past romantic partners. These allegations are based entirely on hearsay because neither of the romantic partners referenced were willing to engage with Rolling Stone for the article—demonstrating their outright falsity.”

The Latest Jonathan Majors Allegations, Explained

The narrative surrounding Majors’ situation has grown increasingly murky in recent days. Following his initial arrest, he was dropped by his management and from the movie The Man in My Basement. He appeared in court last week, on June 20, for the settling of when his trial will begin – August 3. Majors then filed his own domestic violence complaint against his alleged victim, claiming that she was the one who injured him on the night of his arrest.

In the new report, more than a dozen sources have claimed that Majors abused two previous girlfriends. The alleged incidents saw him emotionally abuse both women, and he was said to have strangled one. “My experience in dealing with him and watching him in relationships with several women [is] really upsetting,” a source said. Majors’ legal team have attempted to counter with statements in support of the actor from six former partners; however, Rolling Stone writes that, in contacting these six people, “Three say they never gave Majors’ team permission to release such statements.” Another said their statement was pre-written and not approved.

Beyond the alleged instances of domestic abuse, other sources have shared stories of Majors being difficult on set, to the point of even being aggressive. For example, on the set of his forthcoming film Magazine Dreams, Majors allegedly pushed someone and screamed at another while getting very close physically. Again, Majors’ team has issued a defense for this, stating that the actor was in a Method acting space, and producers had advised people to keep their distance. It remains to be seen what the fallout of these new allegations will be, or if they will impact Majors‘ career – which involves a prominent Marvel role – going forward.
