GTA Online Vehicles We’d Love To See In GTA 6 – Armessa Movie News

[ad_1]

One of the things that players enjoy most about Grand Theft Auto Online is speeding through the streets of Los Santos in their favorite vehicles, and it would be a major disappointment to lose some of these exhilarating rides going into Grand Theft Auto 6. Since its launch in 2013, the game has seen the addition of several hundred cars, bikes, aircraft, and more, which have brought the total number of vehicles up to a massive 708. While many are more or less forgettable, there are some that have shaped players’ experiences in GTA Online, and should absolutely make a reappearance for GTA 6.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

In September 2022, there was a massive leak revealing 90 videos of GTA 6, and some featured familiar cars that fans were able to spot right away. While Rockstar Games later went on to confirm the leak was legitimate, there’s no knowing if the vehicles shown in that video will still be present in the final version of the game. Until the development studio releases more information about the upcoming title, all fans can do is speculate – and hope that their favorite vehicles will make their way into GTA 6.

GTA Online’s Toreador Needs To Return In GTA 6

Since its release with the Cayo Perico Heist update, the Toreador has become many players’ go-to ride, and for good reason. This car brings the best of both worlds, as it’s quite stylish without compromising functionality. It’s armed with machine guns, unlimited missile launchers, and even boasts the ability to seamlessly transform into a submarine at the push of a button (one that’s much sleeker than the Kosatka submarine in GTA Online). The Toreador is a blast to cruise around in, considering its respectable speed and generous turbo boost, and it would disappoint many if it didn’t reappear for GTA 6.

GTA 6 Should Include The Oppressor From GTA Online

Like its name would suggest, the Oppressor is one of the most powerful vehicles in the game, but it’s also by far one of the most fun to use. It may appear outwardly generic, but it’s far from a basic motorcycle: sporting wings and a rocket booster that gives its driver the ability to glide around in the air. Few feelings are better than soaring above the streets of San Andreas in the Oppressor, doing backflips, and using the missile launcher to wreak havoc below. Even on the ground, the Oppressor can cover some serious ground in a short time, being one of the speedier bikes in the game.

While many players like to use the classic Oppressor for stunts in GTA Online‘s Los Santos, they can take this outrageous vehicle to the next level by purchasing the Oppressor MK2. This motorcycle tells a different, albeit equally satisfying story, as it’s built as a hoverbike rather than a traditional bike. It’s become one of the most infamous vehicles in GTA Online, often being the catalyst for griefers thanks to its powerful abilities (its only deterrent being its steep price). But while some would be happy to see it go, it would still undeniably be a shock to players if these iconic bikes were excluded from GTA 6.

GTA Online’s Phantom Wedge Should Stay For GTA 6

Although it differs greatly from the aerodynamic designs of the Oppressors, the Phantom Wedge is one of the most viscerally satisfying vehicles to drive in GTA Online. What it lacks in style, it makes up for in pure chaos, as players can essentially own the roads and disrupt the lives of GTA Online‘s overly aggressive NPCs with this modified commercial semi-truck. Even when driving into oncoming traffic, the Phantom Wedge doesn’t budge and instead sends cars flying thanks to its massive front-facing metal wedge, scratching that everlasting itch for destruction that many players share (and will continue to share, going into GTA 6).

The Akula From GTA Online Should Reappear In GTA 6

Akula Helicopter in GTA Online flies through hazy sky

When it comes to air travel, it doesn’t get much better than the Akula in GTA Online. Out of 22 helicopters in the game, this particular aircraft is one of two which reserves the ability to camouflage itself, rendering it completely invisible to other players’ radars. This stealth mode can provide a much-needed breather for many players, as it can protect them if they’re under attack from enemies, and it can even immediately minimize their wanted level to two stars. This makes it especially helpful for getaways, especially from cops (which players can become in GTA Online).

Even without its useful stealth mode, the Akula is an all-around defensive beast of a helicopter and overall one of the more reliable vehicles in the game. It’s armored, being able to withstand three homing missiles before going down, and its speed isn’t anything to laugh at, either. It’s uncommon to come across such a safety net in GTA Online – and GTA 6 probably won’t contain any less action than its predecessor – and so the Akula would certainly be a welcome addition to the vehicle roster in Rockstar Games’ next title.

GTA 6 Shouldn’t Abandon GTA Online’s Scramjet

GTA Online Scramjet Car flies under the water with rocky fauna terrain in background

Last but certainly not least, the Scramjet is one of the most entertaining cars that money can buy in GTA Online. Similar to the Oppressor, it has the ability to boost itself up into the air for a short period of time, which makes the Scramjet perfect for any GTA Online stuntman. It’s not the most viable in combat – being difficult and at times nauseating to control – but there’s no shortage of epic tricks and surprises that dedicated players can pull off while using this car. The Scramjet probably won’t ever live up to its counterparts in terms of power, but GTA 6 would feel bleak without this wacky vehicle.

As the game is still lacking a concrete release date, it’s unsurprising that fans still know little to nothing about GTA 6‘s gameplay. However, it’s safe to assume that driving will only be further improved in this long-awaited sequel. There will assuredly be plenty of new and exciting vehicles for players to look forward to, but even so, Rockstar Games shouldn’t lose sight of these fan favorites, which continue to make GTA Online so special.
