Guardians of the Galaxy 3 BTS Image Reveals Another James Gunn Suicide Squad Cameo – Armessa Movie News

WARNING: This article includes spoilers for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.Another The Suicide Squad actor made their way into James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, as revealed in a new BTS image. While Marvel Studios has been focusing heavily on fleshing out The Multiverse Saga, Phase 5 just finished another trilogy this year. Before getting fully into his DC Universe projects, Gunn had his Guardians of the Galaxy franchise to complete, with the trilogy finale officially out in theaters as of today.

While several of Gunn’s collaborators were known to be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, it appears the filmmaker had another one appear in a blink-and-you-miss-it-cameo. Photos from Gunn were revealed on Twitter, showing a new BTS image from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3., which features none other than Pete Davidson.

Davidson, who played Blackguard in the DCEU, wasn’t the only actor from The Suicide Squad to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The list also included Nathan Fillion, Daniela Melchior, as well as Gunn’s wife, Jennifer Holland.

What Will Happen To The Guardians Of The Galaxy In The MCU After Vol. 3?

With Gunn having completed his last Marvel Studios film, the bigger question that remains is what is next for the surviving Guardians of the Galaxy characters. As of right now, there has been no word on Marvel Studios pursuing a Guardians of the Galaxy sequel trilogy. Given that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 only came out this week, Marvel Studios will likely make that call based on how it performs at the box office.

Most of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast have also expressed that the threequel would be the last time they played their respective characters. However, based on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’s post-credit scene, there appear to be plans for Peter Quill at the very least, as the film ended with saying, “The Legendary Star-Lord Will Return.” While that makes Chris Pratt’s return inevitable, time will tell where Star-Lord appears after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

As bittersweet as it is to see the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise end, the trilogy was at least given a strong and proper finale. Hopefully, it won’t be long until some of Gunn’s cast members from his Marvel Studios productions make their way over to the new DC Universe that he is working on. But for now, fans can catch several of Gunn’s long-time actors in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
