The star of Love is Blind, Jessica Batten, recently revealed that she and her husband, Ben McGrath, had welcomed their first child into the world. The reality TV star had always wanted to settle down and start a family, but love seemed to elude her. Now, Jessica has found her happily ever after and is looking forward to enjoying time with her little family.
Over the weekend, Jessica took to her social media to share some exciting news with her followers. The Love is Blind star shared that their son, Dax, came into the world on June 9, with mom and baby doing exceptionally well. Jessica posted some cute snaps of the newborn in the hospital, wrapped in his baby blanket.
One photo showed Jessica smiling while sleeping beside her son, while another showed Dax cuddling into his father. The Netflix star and her husband seemed smitten with their new edition and were ready to head home.
Love Is Blind Alums, Congratulate Jessica & Ben On New Baby
Numerous Love is Blind stars flocked to the comment section to congratulate Jessica. Kenny Barnes, who didn’t end up marrying Kelly Chase, was the first to leave a comment writing, “Welcome” to Dax. Kelly was quick to add that the newborn was “perfect.” Shania Hurley also dropped a few thoughts into the comments sharing baby Dax was finally “here.” The alum of Love is Blind seemed to really rally around Jessica with positive and encouraging words for the new mom.
Jessica was one of the first Love is Blind villains. The new mother was one of the easiest women on the show to mock, as she seemed to embrace how one would date when they were 16 and in high school. She tried balancing feelings for two men but obviously chose wrong when it came time to make a decision. Then quickly, she started to regret not choosing Matt Barnett.
After trying out Love is Blind, Jessica met her husband, Ben, in September of 2022. The duo announced they were expecting their first child in January. While Dax is Jessica’s first child, it is Ben’s third, as he is a father to a daughter named Poppy and a son named Ethan from a previous relationship. Jessica made sure to keep followers up to date on her pregnancy journey and will most likely due the same for her time as a parent.
