90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Nicole Sherbiny’s husband Mahmoud Elsherbiny doesn’t allow her to dress glamorously in Egypt, but that isn’t stopping the fashion student from expressing herself through style. The 38-year-old was on a soul-searching trip in Egypt, when she walked into a clothing store and met 28-year-old Mahmoud. Nicole and Mahmoud were married within a few weeks of meeting, but before that, she even converted to Islam. However, things started to go South when Nicole had a hard time adjusting to the religion and culture, and couldn’t stay together with Mahmoud.
Two months later, Nicole returned to the U.S. and decided to divorce Mahmoud. She spoke about him putting restrictions on what she wore, and didn’t accept the hijab that she had to wear as a Muslim woman. In a more recent instance on The Other Way, Nicole had to wear a burkini when she went out swimming. Nicole wasn’t sure if Mahmoud would be the one to compromise to save the marriage, and she didn’t want to give up on her love so easily. However, something about Nicole’s Instagram suggests she’s still not bending backwards to follow Mahmoud’s strange requests.
90 Day Fiancé Star Nicole Has The Blues In Egypt
One of Nicole’s earliest Instagram posts is from August 2022. Nicole doesn’t seem to be too interested in using Instagram, even if she’s been verified recently. With her hair dyed blonde and cut short, the photo looks like a more recent one, perhaps taken when she and Mahmoud were filming 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. The photo’s location was set to Dahab City in Egypt, and shows Nicole striking a confident pose with her hand resting below her chin and hair pushed back. She is wearing a cobalt blue poplin shirt, which is oversized with delicate white embroidery.
90 Day Fiancé Star Nicole Gets Artsy With Mahmoud In Egypt
“Forever Is Now” is an international contemporary art exhibition that was conducted at the Giza Plateau by Art D’Egypte from October to November 2022. It featured the participation of 12 artists from 11 countries from around the world, and Nicole shared a few photos from her visit on Instagram recently. Mahmoud accompanied Nicole for her exhibition excursion, for which she dressed up smartly with oversized cat-eye sunglasses, a herringbone pattern turtleneck top, and bright peach lipstick. Nicole looked every bit the fashionista she is, and with no hijab in place, she was certainly not adhering to the ways Mahmoud wants her to be.

In a post created for Nicole’s birthday on Instagram, Mahmoud wrote, “You’re the best thing ever happened to me I love you more than anything.” Nicole’s 38th birthday was on March 28, and the 90 Day Fiancé star doesn’t look a day over 30. The accompanying photo was a throwback, perhaps from the first couple of days Nicole spent with Mahmoud in Egypt. She had bright red hair, and a short bob with no fringe like the one she sports on TV. The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way cast member can be seen wearing a black shirt and printed trousers, while she poses for a selfie with her husband Mahmoud in the mirror smiling happily.
