Pixie put up a good fight against Drag Race lip-sync assassin Black Peppa but even she knew she didn’t stand much of a chance. She continued, “Going into that lip-sync, I kind of knew it was curtains.” Despite the criticism Pixie received on social media, the queen seems to have a positive outlook on her experience, saying, “I was just really happy and proud of myself.” Pixie was quite open on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK about her journey with feeling insecure and struggling to believe in her abilities. She did have one final plea for the fans, which is to “stop sending hate on socials…it’s not very polite, dear.

It’s sad to hear that Pixie has received so much criticism from supposed fans of the Drag Race. One would think after countless seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race that audiences would know that the show is edited to create heroes and villains. Just because Pixie was portrayed as somewhat villainous doesn’t mean that she is that way in real life. It seems as if fans wanted Pixie to quit Drag Race in order to allow Dakota to last another day. However much they try, sending criticism to Pixie will not bring their favorite back to Drag Race.

Pixie has a lot to be proud of from her run on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. Her performance in the Rusical was a standout, and she was able to show many amazing looks on the main stage. The international franchises of Drag Race have been a huge success and have created massive stars in the drag scene. Pixie seems to have a bright future ahead of her due to her positive attitude and incredible talent.
