In Hogwarts Legacy, you will be presented with many choices over the course of the game, and it can be difficult to know how great of an impact each one will have on the overall narrative. Sometimes what you pick will impact your morality, relationships with characters, or even the game’s ending, while other times, it will have little to no effect on things at all. One of these choices comes from an early mission in the game where you must choose between two characters to accompany to Hogsmeade: Natty Onai or Sebastian Sallow.
This quest, called “Welcome to Hogsmeade,” is the first opportunity to finally journey to the wizarding village, and the choice between Natty and Sebastian for such an exciting occasion can seem like a daunting one. However, overall this is not one of the biggest choices in Hogwarts Legacy that matters long-term. Whomever you wind up choosing, it will be largely inconsequential to the overall story as well as the outcome of the trip to Hogsmeade, only impacting the conversations you have there.
Who To Choose Between Hogwarts Legacy’s Sebastian and Natty
Just like with choosing whom to do any activity with in Hogwarts Legacy, the main impact of choosing between Sebastian and Natty, in this instance, simply has to do with friendship. Embarking on this trip with either one of them will bring you and Sebastian or Natty closer together.
There will also be plenty of other opportunities to build these relationships down the line, as “Welcome to Hogsmeade” takes place quite early in the game’s story.
In order to gain access to the quest in the first place, you will need to complete two classes and then meet with Hogwarts Legacy‘s Professor Weasley, who will offer them the choice between Natty and Sebastian. Once your decision is made, you will be temporarily sidetracked from the trip by a brief assignment from Professor Ronen that revolves around learning the Reparo spell for use on a broken statue. Once this is completed, you can meet either Sebastian or Natty and be on you way to Hogsmeade, as seen in WoW Quests‘ video below.
Ultimately, the choice between Sebastian or Natty for the trip to Hogsmeade in Hogwarts Legacy comes down to your preference. If you have chosen to join either Gryffindor or Slytherin – Natty and Sebastian’s respective houses – perhaps selecting within the same house feels like it best aligns with the protagonist narratively, or maybe one character simply stands out as more interesting than the other one. Whomever you choose to visit the iconic Hogwarts Legacy location with, you can rest easy that it won’t have a lasting impact on their game.
