Love it or hate it, Captain Marvel was certainly one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s bolder films; not only did it have the sizeable task of making an impact between Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame (a task it completed with rousing triumph as evidenced by a $1.1 billion box office gross), but it also offered a unique glimpse into the earlier days of Earth-199999 (or Earth-616, if you’re Kevin Feige), being set in the year 1995; 15 years before Tony Stark first stepped into that iconic armor.
Because of its early place in the timeline and the current trajectory of the franchise, we probably won’t get to see very much of the Captain Marvel era going forward, meaning that more than a few of the film’s characters may be lost to time in the present day.

In Captain Marvel, Ayora portrays Agent Whitcher, a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who was active in the year 1995, and who is not to be confused with a certain fantasy protagonist in the midst of his third escapade.
That’s all the information that seems to be available on Whitcher, and we’d wager that that’s all the information we’re ever going to get; the character’s involvement was nothing short of trivial in the film, and we have our doubts that the fan demand for a Whitcher story has the traction it needs to be willed into existence.
