Warning: Spoilers for Manifest season 4 part 2

A multitude of characters returned to life in Manifestseason 4 part 2. Much to the surprise of the surviving passengers, stopping the apocalypse and beating the Death Date resulted in them all going back in time in the series finale. Not only did this gift from the divine consciousness give them back their old lives, it also resurrected a long list of dead characters, many of which being Flight 828 passengers.

The race to stop the Death Date has taken the lives of several passengers. Since the beginning of the series, Ben, Michaela, Saanvi, and Cal have done what they could to keep them safe, but various tragedies and murders have cost them some huge losses along the way. Even more died on the Death Date itself. But thanks to Manifest’s surprise ending, quite a few were able to return to the living. Some, though, like Angelina Meyer and Autumn Cox, didn’t have their fates reversed because they failed to pass judgment. Here are all 10 characters brought back to life by the Manifest series finale.

11 Karen Stone

Ben and Michaela’s mother, Karen Stone was present at the airport in the pilot episode when her kids and Cal were forced to take a different flight. Upon their return five and a half years later, it was discovered that Karen had died of an illness. It’s likely that her death will still happen, but the changes to the timeline in Manifest season 4 part 2 should allow Ben and Michaela the time with her they were originally denied.

10 Kelly Taylor

Kelly in Manifest

Killed in just the third episode, Kelly Taylor is one of the first characters to die in Manifest. Similar to Michaela and Ben, she was of many people to find that things have changed considerably in their absence. For Kelly, coming back had fatal consequences. After her disappearance, her housekeeper, Christine, formed a romance with Kelly’s husband. It ended with the latter’s return, prompting Christine to murder Kelly. Since Ben and Michaela know what’s to come, they can prevent Christine from killing her the second time around.

9 Harvey Stein

Manifest Harvey

Harvey Stein died not long after Kelly. After three people he told about the Callings died, Harvey came to believe that he was the Angel of Death. Despite Michaela’s efforts to talk him out of it, he killed himself in a season 1 episode. Harvey’s death came at a time when the passengers’ understanding of the Callings was extremely limited. But though he was only around for a small portion of their journey, he was on hand for the final episode, which teased a friendship between Harvey and Henry.

8 Finn Nowak

Finn in Manifest

In Manifest season 2, episode 6, Ben and Michaela followed the Callings to help a passenger named Finn Nowak. The character died just two episodes later when Isaiah, a misguided follower of Adrian, trapped Finn and several passengers in a nightclub, where they perished in a fire. In Manifest season 4 part 2’s ending, Finn was spotted walking amongst the other resurrected passengers at the airport.

7 Grace Stone

Grace looking worried in Manifest

Arguably the subject of the show’s most shocking death scene, Grace was murdered by Angelina in the season 3 finale. The fate she met in the episode was a heavy blow for several of the show’s most important characters, most notably Ben, Cal, and Olive. They’ve been struggling to move on without her ever since, and as Ben said to Saanvi, he doubted he’d get over her. The series finale’s big twist proved that Ben won’t ever have to; Grace is alive again, and with Angelina now dead, he won’t have to worry about the past repeating itself. Not only that, but their marriage won’t have to endure the five and a half years they spent apart.

6 Sam Wile

Sam in Manifest

Also shown in this scene was Sam Wile, one of the passengers murdered by Noelle Meyer, Angelina’s mother. He was one of the victims found by Michaela and Jared in Manifest season 4 part 1. A flashback showed him meeting Jared, who helped him save from people who were persecuting him. He was described by his ex-wife as a person with so much kindness that it ultimately wrecked their marriage. But now that these events have been undone, Sam will get to ensure their relationship works out differently. He was shown having a tearful reunion with her in the finale.

5 Zeke Landon

Manifest Season 4 Part 2 Zeke

When speaking to Zeke during his time in the glow, Michaela learned that he was driving a cab near the airport on the night Flight 828 landed. After going back to 2013, Michaela used this knowledge to orchestrate a reunion with Zeke, who sacrificed himself to save Cal in the Manifest season 4 part 1 finale. For him, this was his first meeting with Michaela, but for her, it’s a chance for the two to begin their romance all over again, this time without the Callings and the Death Date getting in the way of their happiness.

4 Violet Wheeler

Violet and Cal from Manifest, walking down the street smiling and laughing

Introduced in Manifest season 4 part 1 as a previously unseen Flight 828 passenger, Violet served as a love interest to Cal. A romance between them appeared to be blossoming but was cut short when she lost her life at the hands of Noelle. Due to the age gap that now exists between Violet and Cal, it’s impossible for that relationship to occur in the new timeline. However, a tease in the finale sets her up to find love with TJ. Similar to the situation with Violet and Cal, his romance with Olive can’t continue because he’s now far too old for her. But by having his mother back and a possible relationship with Violet to look forward to, TJ has a pathway to a happy future.

3 Fiona Clarke

Manifest Disappearance rule daly and fiona return 2024

Fiona Clarke, a passenger who couldn’t get the Callings in season 1, disappeared alongside Captain Daly. A reveal in season 4 confirmed that the two were trapped inside the divine consciousness. Apparently, both were eventually sent back to become the “witnesses” of God. Believing that Fiona had to die for her plan to work, Angelina used her Omega Sapphire powers to manipulate Eden into unknowingly killing her, shortly before arranging for Captain Daly’s death as well. Whether Daly was revived or not wasn’t confirmed, but the series finale revealed that Fiona was indeed revived by God.

2 Astrid Koren

Astrid fron Manifest, looking up, wearing a winter jacket.

First appearing in season 3, Astrid Koren was one of the 13 “dangerous” passengers the Registry had failed to apprehend. Depicted as a nervous hypochondriac, Astrid was a part of Angelina’s group until she tried to break away from her influence. This prompted Angelina and Autumn to poison her medicine, killing her. She didn’t remain dead for long, though, as she was confirmed to be alive and well after the Death Date was stopped.

1 Cal Stone

Cal from season 4 of Manifest looking ill and older

After spending months uncertain of their correct course, Cal finally figured out what had to be done to save the passengers. In the show’s penultimate episode, Cal disappeared into the fissure where Saanvi left the Noah’s Ark driftwood, creating a glowing blue beacon for all passengers to see. In that moment, Cal made the ultimate sacrifice to bring back Flight 828, which served as the “ark” the passengers needed to use to complete their mission. He returned in the Manifest series finale, albeit without his memories of everything that’s happened since the start of the series. Since it’s 2013 again, Cal is still a young boy dying of cancer, but due to Saanvi knowing how to cure him, a better life looks to be right around the corner.
